CHANGE

When a New Year comes our way, we expect a new beginning to follow, some of us anyways. What are we actually doing to change our lives, and our habits though? Practicing Good Habits, can alter one’s very own existence, Becoming someone completely NEW. But how exactly do we practice these habits? I mean where can we start?

In the words of the Wise Michael Jackson, “I’m starting with the man in the mirror, and I’m asking him to change his way’s”. The most important thing you can do to practice pivoting your life is starting by taking a good look at yourself and reflecting, focus on who you are now, who you see yourself becoming, and what it would feel like if you were more mindful of yourself, your actions, and your goals. Practicing mindfulness is not a one off reflection. It’s a constant mind bending meditation practice that will allow the successor to change their daily habits.

Start by self reflection, take a good look in the mirror for about 10-20 min a day, what are some things you see that you would love to change?, this can be your height, your weight, your sex, your appearance, the way you dress, your job, your hair, relationship, etc. We have the ability to change ourselves, shape and mold our bodies and our minds until we no longer identify as who we once was, Step by Step focusing on a minor change each day will give you the freedom of self discovery. Let’s start with these affirmations…


AFFIRMATIONS

    Today is a new day so let’s start here!, for example today I folded and put away my laundry properly, this is something that I tend to slack at doing as a single parent with two every active boy toodlers, it’s like I clean one room they destroy the entire house behind me, not to mention the laundry stay folded for all of four hours if I’m lucky, even when it’s time for a night out I tend to throw example outfits all over the room, with no rush to reorganize. Let’s practice mindfulness here, what can i do to improve my life by making sure the laundry stays put away. Take a 5 min break to relax your mind, reflect on ways the laundry being folded and put away, can help your daily routine. Now replace the laundry with a situation in your life you would like to change, take a 10 min break to reflect how it would change your daily routine if this situation was properly handled.     Raise Your Vibrations

    When there is a lot of unnecessary clutter, it can feel overwhelming and heavy. Ask yourself what is no longer serving you, take some time to clear up the unnecessary items you have accumulated. Separate from low vibration activity or activities that don’t bring you joy, if you have a habit hard to break, take it one day at a time, let go of negative energy, this will help to raise your energy, the Vibrational Energy shift will raise your mood therefore leading you into a new level of direction. Shifting energy, practicing routine, will change how you think, feel, and provide more Balance in your life.

Take a deep breath, focus on where you are now, inhale and exhale deeply, do this 5x while you are focusing. Take another deep breath, inhale and exhale deeply while you focus on the person you are becoming, breath deeply for 1 min while you envision how changing your daily habits will allow you to become the person you see. Raising your vibrations will naturally manifest, Wealth, Love, Happiness, Power, and Mind, Body, Soul, Balance. Fill in blank spaces with work, hobbies, errands, working on things that support your goals, eliminate distractions and Focus…

Letting Go

Letting go is hard, letting go of bad habits is harder. But there is GOOD in “Good-bye”. Breathe, take a few deep breaths and think about what doesn’t serve you, what is holding you back from becoming the person you know you truly are? When we come into our natural spirited being, we pick up new habits, you are the author, alter your well-being. Death and destruction of the past must happen in order to enlighten the future set forth. Breathe, let go of what doesn’t serve you. Practice Patience, and just start.
